【摘要】:1.1Scope.Thisstandardcoversperformancerequirementsforemergencyandstandbypowersystemsprovidinganalternatesourceofelectricalpowertoloadsinbuildingsandfacilitiesintheeventthattheprimarypowersourcefails.1.1.1Powersystemscoveredinthisstandardincludepowersources,transferequipment,controls,supervisoryequipment,andallrelatedelectricalandmechanicalauxiliaryandaccessoryequipmentneededtosupplyelectricalpowertotheloadterminalsofthetransferequipment.1.1.2Thisstandardcoversinstallation,maintenance,operation,andtestingrequirementsastheypertaintotheperformanceoftheemergencypowersupplysystem(EPSS).1.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotcoverthefollowing:(1)ApplicationoftheEPSS(2)Emergencylightingunitequipment(3)Distributionwiring(4)UtilityservicewhensuchserviceispermittedastheEPSS(5)Parametersforstoredenergydevices(6)TheequipmentofsystemsthatarenotclassedasLevel1orLevel2systemsinaccordancewithChapter4ofthisstandard1.1.4*Thisstandarddoesnotestablishcriteriaforstoredenergysystems.1.1.5Theselectionofanyofthefollowingisnotwithinthescopeofthisstandard:(1)Specificbuildingsorfacilities,orboth,requiringanEPSS(2)SpecificloadstobeservedbytheEPSS(3)*Assignmentoftype,class,orleveltoanyspecificload.
